Feeding Emma 1.2.0

As an expecting father preparing to welcome my daughter in May 2023, I found myself with the opportunity to develop a simple app using Apple’s SwiftUI. This project was born out of a desire for practicality amidst the bustling life of parenthood.

The app is designed with user-friendliness in mind, adhering to a minimalist approach that prioritizes functionality over unnecessary features. It requires no account creation, sign-ups, or logins; simply install and start tracking. Data syncs effortlessly with iCloud, appearing across all devices linked to the same Apple ID. Built using native Apple frameworks, user data remains secure and private, ensuring that sensitive information about your baby's milestones is not shared externally. Future updates aim to include family sharing options for those interested.

In designing this app, I focused on simplicity. As many parents can attest, the early days can be overwhelming, leaving little room for complex interfaces. The goal was to create an intuitive experience that allows users to efficiently track feeding, sleep patterns, and diaper changes without unnecessary distractions.

On a personal note, I dedicate this endeavor to my daughter Emma. I look forward to cheering her on as she embarks on her journey through life.
